Accountability, not another plan · iOS

Every fitness app
lets you quietly quit.

GritKeep is the one that notices when you ghost it, and will not let it slide. Miss a session and it escalates, one surface at a time.

Built in the open by one person. TestFlight coming soon.

The GritKeep Today screen on iPhone, showing the day's session with each exercise, its sets and target weights.

Today, on a training day.

What happens when you skip

It gets harder to ignore.

Motivation fades. Systems don't. Each rung only fires if the one before it didn't work, and you set the ceiling.

1

A nudge Push

A notification timed to your session, before the day gets away from you.

2

Your home screen Widget

The miss sits on your home screen with a one-tap "I'm going now." No skip button.

3

Your coach calls In-app call

A real two-way call inside the app, in your coach's voice. It knows exactly which session you missed, you talk it out instead of writing the day off, and it can adjust today's plan while you are still on the call.

You choose how far the ladder is allowed to go, with quiet hours, and you can dial it back at any time. Calls only happen if you opted into that rung. They happen inside the app, so GritKeep never dials your phone number.

Weights that actually move

It changes the weight, and shows its work.

Log your sets and rate the effort. The next session's numbers move on their own, and every change lands in a timeline with the reason it happened. No "we adjusted your plan" while the plan sits there unchanged.

Dumbbell Bench Press: 20 lb up to 25 lb. You hit 3x12 with reps to spare.

Goblet Squat: 25 lb down to 20 lb. Last session was past your limit.

Dumbbell Row: updated to 25 lb. To match what you actually lifted.

Real lines from the app, with example numbers.

Inside the app

What you actually get.

Real screens from the build, not mockups.

The Today screen showing an Upper Body session: five exercises, about seventy minutes, with dumbbell bench press at four sets of six to eight reps at 70 lb and two of four sets already logged.

Today

A real plan, built around the equipment you own.

Answer a short set of questions about your goal, experience, schedule and what you actually have to train with. GritKeep builds a full week around them, down to the weights on your rack. Log a set in seconds and tell it how hard the last one felt.

The Plan screen showing an Upper / Lower four day plan at version four, with a Plan Updates timeline listing a progression to 70 lb, a coach-made session move, and the original plan reasoning.

Plan timeline

Every change, in plain language, with the reason attached.

Your weights progress on their own: add reps, then add weight, exactly when you have earned it. Every edit lands on a timeline that says what moved and why, whether it came from your logged sets or from a conversation. No black box.

A chat with Coach Reyes about a cranky shoulder. The coach suggests dropping overhead pressing for two weeks, says plainly that it is not diagnosing anything and to see a doctor if it gets sharp, then confirms the swap with a Plan updated receipt.

Coach chat

A coach that changes the plan, not just the subject.

Ask for an easier week, a swapped exercise or a schedule change, and it happens, with a receipt on your timeline. It explains the reasoning behind your training, and it tells you plainly when something belongs with a doctor instead of a coach.

The Progress screen showing weight at 184.2 lb trending down 1.6 lb, body fat at 19.6 percent, an Apple Health connect row, and weekly set targets per muscle group.

Progress

Your body data, handled quietly.

Weight and body fat sync from Apple Health, smart scale readings included, so there are no daily logging chores. Your coach sees the trend and weekly volume per muscle group, and adjusts the plan rather than the pep talk.

Pick your coach

Same training science, a voice you will actually listen to.

Some people need a hand on the back. Some need a plan on the whiteboard. Some need to be told to stop negotiating. Switch whenever you want.

Coach Birdie

Coach Birdie

The encourager

Warm, patient and hard to disappoint. Celebrates the comeback louder than the streak.

Coach Reyes

Coach Reyes

The strategist

Explains the why behind every set. Calm, direct, and always has a reason for the change.

Gunner

Gunner

The drill sergeant

Short sentences, no excuses accepted. For the people who know exactly what they respond to.

The rest of it

A plan that fits you, and keeps fitting.

Built from your body, your equipment and your history, then kept honest by what you actually did.

Evidence-based programming

Real movement patterns, volume landmarks and splits chosen for your days and experience, not filler picked to look busy.

Knows your body

Weight and workouts sync from Apple Health, smart scale included. Your health data is never stored in iCloud.

Remembers the details

Tell it your knee hurt and it plans around it. It remembers your goals, your setbacks and what you said last week.

Life happens

Tell your coach you need a day and the reminders stand down. The goal is never guilt. It is getting you back one workout sooner.

Progress without guesswork

Log your sets in seconds and rate the effort. Add reps, then add weight, exactly when you have earned it. You never have to decide the number yourself.

See the movement

Demo clips for the exercises you are actually doing, so you are never guessing what one should look like.

Fits your equipment

It only ever prescribes weights you actually own, and works the same whether that is a full gym or two dumbbells.

Credit where it is due

Streaks, milestones and personal records, with the loudest celebration saved for the day you come back after a gap.

Train with friends

Invite a friend to a challenge scored against each person's own plan, so a beginner and a veteran compete fairly. It rewards showing up, not out-training each other. Banter optional.

No tricks

The things other apps make you find out later.

One price, shown up front

Premium is $14.99 a month or $79.99 a year after a 7 day free trial, stated before you pay. No quiz that hides the cost until the end, and no surprise add-on charges.

Cancel in one tap

Billing runs through your Apple account, so cancelling takes a tap in Settings. No emails, no retention calls.

Your data is not the product

Your health data is never sold or used for ads. Sign in with Apple only, so there is no password to leak.

Straight answers

Before you sign up.

Is this medical advice?

No. GritKeep offers general fitness guidance, not medical advice, and it is not a medical device. Your coach will tell you plainly when something belongs with a doctor rather than a training plan. Consult a doctor before starting a new exercise program.

What does it cost?

Premium is $14.99 a month or $79.99 a year, after a 7 day free trial. The price, trial length and renewal terms are stated before you pay, and billing runs through your Apple account so cancelling takes a tap in Settings. The free tier is genuinely useful, not a demo that expires.

Does it call my actual phone?

No. Accountability calls happen inside the app, and only if you opted into that rung of the ladder. GritKeep never dials your phone number. You set how far the escalation is allowed to go, you set quiet hours, and you can dial it back at any time.

What happens to my health data?

It is never sold and never used for advertising. Health data read from Apple Health is never stored in iCloud. Sign in with Apple only, so there is no password to leak, and you can delete your account and its data whenever you want.

Do I need a gym?

No. Your plan is built from the equipment you tell it you have, and it only ever prescribes weights you actually own. A full gym and two adjustable dumbbells both work, and the plan rebuilds if your equipment changes.

When can I get it?
